The TIBA Group of Mexico hosted over 20 member-firms in attendance at the meeting of the not-for-profit International Project Forwarders Group met from November 2 through 6.
The WPG welcomed three new members:
- Sea Cargo Logistics, Mr. Eduardo Velez covering Colombia and Peru
- FLS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Mr. Francesco Jose Rivi covering Thailand
- Total Logistics Control (TLC) Mr. Vincent Paturel, covering Nigeria .
In addition, the members were treated to a presentation by Julien & Thierry Lenne and Christophe Ellion of CF Technologies. CF Technologies produces a specialized, portable, ship side bagging system for bulk commodities such as fertilizer and other conveyor friendly materials.
The meetings were very productive and all members in attendance had a chance to reconnect and exchange idea on new and existing business opportunities.
The next WPG meeting will be in Istanbul in September 2012.
